still, you found yourself talking about his latest let’s talk streams or even his random tweets. you loved having a community of online mutuals that felt the same way about quackity.

halfway across the country, alexis sat cross-legged on the floor of his cluttered apartment, surrounded by a sea of empty takeout boxes and energy drink cans. his eyes were glued to the computer screen, the glow from the monitor reflecting off his square-rimmed glasses. his mouse hand hovered over the keyboard, poised to respond to the endless stream of comments that flooded his youtube channel. his thumbs danced across his phone, scrolling through the notifications that seemed to never end.

it had been a wild ride for alexis since he started streaming games and posting videos under the moniker 'Quackity'. the fame had come quickly, and with it, the adoration of millions of fans around the globe.

sometimes alex would take the time and look through his community of devoted fans. he would use throwaway accounts to simply be unknown for once and just see what there was out there.

his fans were so unbelievably talented. many of them were amazing artists making portraits of him or even writing songs for him. some were even exceptional writers and the fanfiction stories he’d come across were actually pretty good.

amidst the digital chaos, one fan seemed to stand out from the rest. y/n, with her username 'Y/NIsNotHere', had caught his attention with her thoughtful comments and unyielding support. He clicked on her tumblr profile, and there it was: a fan account dedicated solely to him.

her profile was a shrine to his digital persona, filled with meticulously edited gifs, screenshots from his streams, and heartfelt notes about how his content had changed her life. Alexis felt a strange mix of flattery and curiosity. he hovered over the 'send message' button, his heart racing with excitement.

what did she look like? what was her voice like? would she be as amazing as she seemed? with a deep breath, he typed out a simple hello.

granted, he was using a secret throwaway tumblr account so he didn’t expect for an immediate response. and yet, the response still came rather quickly.

re: shinyduo/gempearl being so not normal about each other after life series. other anon was so right why are they freaky.

pearl is definitely just as at fault imo. gem’s excellent at innuendos and tone of voice (“your red skin is my favorite~”) but pearl’s yes and filter falls apart in front of gem. the pickles a prime example, and the ren stream disaster wedding of course. she’s also very genuine and i love that for her. but that results in crazy lines like the “love you gem. always will. even if you dont want me, ill still be there.” TO STREAM WHEN GEM WASNT EVEN THERE.

and i need to mention the latest stream. Pearl “I only get asked if im gay when you’re in the picture” and how they both have to take a minute of silence to process that flejelejwkej. whose fault is that pearl? whose fault ?? to her credit she seems genuinely confused by the extent of her actions. the most damning evidence for her straightness i fear. rip gem though, she seems to be having fun anyway.

theyre both professionals and follow up in that stream with how the fandom will always play around with them as characters etc etc. good communication, very healthy, good for them. but this post is about why they graduated from shenanigans and innuendos to 2 hours of fanservice and it doesn’t even feel intentional half the time.

as for next life series, i would be shocked if they didn’t keep up this befuddling yuri bit. theyve mentioned seeing all the tierlist maker dream team posts and pearl had to ask her chat “OTHER than gem, who should I team with” so theyre well aware demand is there. theyre fantastic as enemies and well aware of that, but they could get some scarian level drama by teaming together, and i dont say that lightly. since pearl keeps stalling pvp on hermitcraft, theyre never getting that 1v1 without cosmic intervention or a declaration of love 😭

im NOT gonna go on another rant about the life series alliance situation because as i’ve just demonstrated yesterday i can literally rant. for hours. and we don’t need that lmao. at this point whether or not they team up in the next one SOMETHING will happen. i have that much faith in them. they’re bound to run into each other and do something and that’s the shiny duo connection speaking god bless

like the other anon said, i do think they can work with just about any dynamic and it’ll be insanity-inducing either way. one of my favourite things about them just as a pairing (in any context, platonic, romantic, etc.) is just the way they will drift towards one another, to be linked in a way that’s indescribable, to always carry a piece of each other with themselves wherever they wander because the influence they’ve had on the other is irrefutable— and okay yeah they’re getting way too freaky about it get out of my fan fiction-esque rant. what are you doing here. why are you like this. what. like there’s something going on when what they’re getting up to creeps more and more into being what i usually read in fics. i. hello???

i really, really want to give them the benefit of the doubt. okay. listen. for every mention of feet and poking at pearl’s straightness, there’s a chat message behind it that warranted it, i’m sure. this isn’t the post to be getting into how fans are with cc boundaries and how we’re STILL bad at figuring our tags out, but i feel like this discussion eventually HAS to touch on the fact that it’s been made clear that they don’t want to see shipping stuff, and bringing it up in chat crosses that boundary just as well. i think they’ve handled it well in acknowledging that they’re aware it’s for their characters, drawing clear lines between what they’re comfortable with and what they’re not, etc. i think just the muddled lines from people continuously bringing stuff from a fandom space up to a cc contributes a lot to why we got. whatever happened on that wednesday stream. honestly, from these instances on stream i think it’s been shown that they just find this stuff amusing, and good for them, y’know? still doesn’t mean we should be regularly poking them about ships and. well. i dunno. literally bringing it up in chat?

After your brief introduction with Geto, you were now sitting on a leather couch that overlooked the bright city of Tokyo. Gojo had stepped out to go handle whatever modeling business he had to attend to, leaving you with Geto. It’s been silent since then, even more than before the chatterbox out of all 3 of you had left.

You couldn’t help but admire the man before you, no doubt in the fact that he could’ve become a model himself if he wanted to. As if he could feel your gaze, he turned around to lock his deep lilac eyes with your own. You blinked. He smiled, softly but surely. Anything he would say, you would do. Whether out of fear, admiration, or something else, you didn’t know.

His studio was clean (cleaner than yours at least) yet had the essence of life and his own soul strewn over it. Silken fabrics adorned the windows and deep fabrics were strewn across the island in his office, his desk with a stack of papers and an open portfolio. With curiosity your gaze shifted to it, focusing in on it to try and see what was on them, his latest line maybe?

Yet before you could catch the slightest hint, his pale hands had flipped the open file closed. “I apologize for my lack of introduction, i’m Suguru Geto, you probably already know though.” You had to get a grip on yourself, he’s your…mentor and you can’t swoon around for your own mentor. “I’m Y/N L/N, I really love your work.” you quickly managed to get out.

A moment of pause, and he let out chuckle that was deep yet as light as a summer’s night breeze. “I’m quite familiar, I see your name in my notifications quite frequently.” And with that, summer’s scorching sun had graced itself into your cheeks, and if you couldn’t blush before you might as well have now. Your appreciation for his work posted online hadn’t gone unnoticed apparently. What’s worse, he knew your social media already and you can’t remember whether you left it private or public.

When you returned to reality, you saw a collection of various designs laid before you on the coffee table. The seasons were shifting from summer to fall. Although it was early September, the industry never waited, not even on the leaves to fall. Your mouth fell to a small o , Suguru swore if you had gazed at him with the stars in your eyes, they might’ve been warm enough to make him melt.

You skim through each and every sketch, feeling as if you’ve discovered a new chest of gems, one that nobody knew of. You stopped when you fell across a particular sketch, not really a sketch but a photocopy. The style felt familiar, and upon closer examination, it’s my drawing

You look up at Geto, “I was thinking, there’d be no point in interning if you couldn’t exercise your own work. So, if it’s alright with you I was thinking to incorporate some of your ideas into the next line.”

A grin spread across your face, “Yes, Of Course! I’d love that so mu-” you were cut off with the door opening, and Geto quickly shut the folder with the sketches out of sight. You turned around to see the door, none other than Gojo standing there, playful pout gracing his face. “He’s not allowed to see the works in progress,” Geto explained. You tilted your head, no words, and like second nature Gojo responded “He wants to be mysterious and keep it a surprise like the bum he is.” Gojo had scrunched his nose at Geto, plopping himself down next to him, arm resting on the couch behind Geto’s back.

A twinge of jealousy pinched at Geto, seeing what’s probably surface level remnants of your past relationship come back to life like clockwork. He brushed it off, you had no feelings, Gojo has none, what could go wrong.

Yet, you had no feelings. None. You looked at the couple in front of you and exhaled with relief. you did it, you were over him, and you can carry on

It was dead silence now, how unfortunate. Why won’t your mouth work, say something. Thankfully, Geto and Gojo had been fussing over whatever rich people business Gojo had brought with him. Albeit, quite hushed. Praying your stomach wouldn’t go back to its old ways, you had jinxed yourself. A quite prominent growl had presented itself to the room. Geto glanced up at the clock, Gojo smiled. It was pushing 1 in the afternoon, unfortunately you couldn’t brush it off as only one person was sitting in the direction of the sound, and that person was you. Gojo had slightly toed Geto under the table.

“Next item on the schedule would probably better off as lunch, hm?” Geto offered, a teasing, forced?, smile on his face.

“Really?” You glanced down at the paper, lunch wasn’t for another hour? Quickly the paper was lightly tugged from your hold, two different hands yet adorned by similar rings. The two glanced at each other. “A designers life never sits set in stone, little one.” Gojo said in a sing-song.

“Ohh” you had bought it. They take this very seriously, perhaps it’s best not to mess around too much like this - Suguru

Quickly, the two men had already began to make their way out the door and to the elevator down to the city. You made your way to keep up with them, to wherever they were taking you.

Teaser theories & complains cus i got a LOT to talk about

so...the teaser dropped... and 3 volumes, some fckass shots and called it a day.

Im mad bc first of all, the shots in the teaser didnt look like the rest of st does. Tthey looked like ai, especially the ones with lucas and max in the hospital, or the ones with will yelling run and mike with the kids.

Complain 1 here is that i fear st5 wont look as good as the rest of the seasons, mostly bc of the color grading and directing, but honestly for that its too early to tell.

Now lets talk about the release dates...

Im sure most of you hear the rumor about the 3 part release, and none of us believed it. I was sure st5 would be done in 2 volumes like st4, and then wed get at LEAST one in october, one in november.

But these three parts really pissed me off, bc for europe its gonna be nov 27, dec 26 and the finalle will be seen in THE GOOD YEAR OF LORD 2026. ARE THEY SERIOUS????

They said and PROMISED 2025. if they were gonna do that in the first place they should have specified late 2025, and even 2026.

And to clarify: im not mad its taking so long to finish, im mad because the marketing team didnt tell us a thing, and that makes netflix look like a real jerk to its shows fans.

THEORIES:

We first get the shots of will and joyce, which for...abiut a minute i thought were gonna be the ONLY shots wed get from st5.

When i saw this i really thought wed just get a recap from all the previous seasons bc they did this before, and it panicked me cus i was like "wait, thats it?" until the release dates dropped.

And dear st team, when making a goddamn teaser, dont put just 2 new shots and then recap to edge ur audience thank u.

I believe this isnt about the night will went missing.

Joyce only discovered he was gone just from the morning after, but youll tell me she must still be recalling everything she did that day and guilt herself again about the night of nov6 and stuff like that.

Even though the night shes referring to obviously had to do with wills dissapearance, i think this is about the night they found wills fake dead body.

This moment, to both the audience and joyce, is more remarkable than the other two, aka nov 6 and wills dead body. She is referring to that moment bcs shes scared of losing him again. EVEN THOUGH she legit says "the night all of this started" i dont belkieve the duffers with this, okay? They are doing this a lot in teasers to throw us off snd build tension for the wong moment. let me leave my dream :(

Hence, the first st5 scene in the teaser, is a heart to heart with will and joyce, and most likely a coming out scene, since it takes place later in the season, probs episodes 3 or six, which will most likely be in volume 1 if im correct.

(this outfit was found in later episodes, since we know the first will outfit of the season)

And based on this leak we can be sure that this scene takes place in the turnbow trap, since many of the other shots from the teaser are also from the same setting

these are definetly from the same episode aka episode 3 or 4, because they got same clothes and the turnbow kids, who also will most definetly die in order to save the main cast lol...

And then we have this wonderful gem we know is from episode four... and because of this leak they were forced to put this in the teaser me thinks...

and hence, my dear audience, we got this...

and do you know what funnier?? the "grab him by the throat part"

In the projector scene, they were rehearshing this scene, so it all makes me believe these scenes are all in episodes 3 and four

And this shot is similar to billys in season 3, so i wouldnt be surprised if will was choking someone (johnathan, joyce, or mike) while yelling "RUN!!"

And it got me wondering, i dont think we saw this flooring before.... This is a new updside down building.

We saw the school, the town, houses and stuff in the ud, but never agsin this floor. The school had yelow and wide tiles, while the lab has wide, and large white ones. Originally Jinx compared her to Pearl because Jinx thinks she’s prissy and overbearing, this made Caitlyn block all official Steven universe accounts on every piece of social media.

Later Vi compared her to Pearl because Vi thinks she tries her best to help everyone even if she makes mistakes sometimes, thsi and Caitlyn unblock some Steven Universe accounts and watch alongside Vi sometimes

She doesn’t end up watching the show from the beginning, she just asks Vi questions and Vi explains how something fits into the story

“Why does Lapis despise Peridot so much? She’s like half her size if she’s an issue push her over” “Well Peridot reminds her of her trauma of being constantly used wherever she goes and never living for herself, she’d just be constantly triggered like she has been for thousands of years” “ohh… why don’t they just build a second place on the land?” “Cause the barn is cool” “ah,, makes sense.”

Ekko is a fan of Bismuth and he’ll tell everyone else that it’s because the crystal gem rebellion was super interesting to him but deep inside his interest was first peaked because he finds the Bismuth puns genuinely funny like he guffaws at every one.

He started watching when Jinx showed him the clip of Steven having to poof Bismuth, and he made sure to go back through the series to really get what’s going on.

When the cluster was introduced he was appalled like this is the world’s greatest home-world hater, like he was even iffy on peridot for a whole extra season it was so bad

“At least she’s trying to redeem herself?” “I don’t care if she stops homeworld by herself I Don’t Like Her.”

The Diamond arc? Oh he is SAT for every episode and he is HEATED. He’s getting them (Jinx + family) sound complaints cause he keeps pausing to complain about whoever happens to be on screen

She actually keeps pretty good track of animation projects and new series so she’s been watching since the beginning. The pitch of sentient rocks living around and with this half human half rock boy? Yeah she was definitely intrigued

And now emotionally wrecked, like she saw a clip of season 1 Steven while presently on the homeworld arc and almost fell to her knees her BABY

Auntie!Mel bonds with Jinx and Vi over it when visiting their house its like:

“Mel, if you wanted to run away from your home and ended up hurting people in the process, wouldn’t you take accountability for that?” “Well that depends on who I hurt.” “Let’s say you leave someone in a garden for like mmm random number six thousand years—“ “Spinel has full reason to be upset, I’d do worse if I were her” “RIGHT???”

“Whyre you and Jinx arguing? Aren’t you a bit old for the silent treatment?” “She keeps calling me basic for liking Steven.” “Steven? The character on a slow creep to a world terrorizing meltdown?” “RIGHT.” “Vi, not everyone you meet will have good taste like you and me, I’m so sorry”

She does think Jinx terrorizing online spaces is a little funny but is trying to be responsible and won’t tell her that outright

And by not tell her she means trying not to roll over laughing hearing Jinx read out the arguments

If you asked Sevika why she liked Jasper, she’d say something like “I too have been forever changed by a lesbian relationship” or “smash.”

If you asked Sevika while she’s in a sad drunk mood she wouldn’t verbally answer and just mentally spiral about the perfect solider who keeps losing and losing and losing and losing and—don’t refill her cup, Sevika is going home, don’t call her damn phone, she’s busy

In this modern scenario, her and Jinx are still coworkers so when Jinx is watching video essays or character compilations on her breaks, Sevika will walk by and either stand and watch an intense part or make fun of what’s on screen

*Jasper climbs up the side of a boat to beg on her knees for Lapis to re-fuse* “ohh I’ve been there before,” “She’s begging her to reform into an eight armed monster where they constantly fought for dominance in the headspace at the bottoms of the ocean because Lapis— the blue one— didn’t want Jasper— the orange one— to kill Steven— the boy one.” “oh yeah no, me too (wtf??)”

Overtime Jinx started to refer to Jasper as Sevika’s favorite and kept giving her vague updates on her condition, that being said Sevika rewatched the entire series and future when she heard news of Jasper’s Shattering

“They shattered your goat.” “What goat??” *shows photo of Jasper’s shatter gem in Steven’s hand* “IS THAT FUCKING JASPER????”

Like she didn’t even wanna talk about what happened afterward she blocked Jinx and started watching immediately, Sevika was getting to the bottom of this (of what?? We have no clue she’s hurt rn)

Javier Peña: Gets drunk. Like - very drunk. Smokes an entire pack of cigarettes while he drinks. Worrying. Obsessing over the idea that he was already nervous to be responsible for one kid, but three???? He's never gonna sleep again. He's going to be grey by the time the kids are born, or bald from the stress. Once he's gotten over his hangover, he's asking questions. Demanding to know the risks and he has a fucking notebook full of questions for the doctors every time you go. Turns into the most solid father that you've ever seen.

Ezra: Speechless. For the first time since you have met the loquacious prospector, he is completely speechless. "I don't quite thing your suit's gonna be fitting you soon, little gem." His life has been one big adventure and he has just floated along. Now he will have to put that sharp mind to work to make sure that his little family has their feet firmly planted on a safe planet. Ezra will be planting roots - just don't ask him where he acquired the things he brings home for the babies.

Mando: Have you ever seen a wall of metal worry? That's what it would be like. This towering hunk of beskar would just lurk and be underfoot. Silently watching and you would wake up to any and all little luxuries that he could possibly get his hands on. The man would invest in a real bed for Maker's sake. He would even get a medical droid, putting aside his dislike for most tech to make sure you had the best help available.

Pero Tovar: Pero wonders why you are as big as a horse. (You hit him with a frying pan for saying that) When the midwife tells him that she feels more than one babe in your belly, he starts to worry. Childbirth in his days is not without risk and multiple babes are even riskier. He will start praying to God to allow the babes to born healthy and breaking his back even more to provide for the four of you.

Frankie Morales: His military training is the only goddamn thing keeping this man from having a panic attack, or a stroke. Definitely going to be getting high one last time before he flushes the coke down the toilet. If for nothing but to work out that fear without you knowing. To your face, Francisco Morales would be the most calm, rational man with dealing with the idea of triplets. He even trades in his beloved truck for a van - not a mini van, because those things drive like fucking ass - but a cargo van to haul the kids and all their shit around. He will be working himself into the ground to his get license re-instated so he can be earning more. He can't raise triplets on his retirement alone.

Agent Whiskey: In complete denial. Absolutely refuses to believe that you are having more than one baby. Like complete disassociates when it comes to that. Despite Ginger confirming it and everyone talking about the babies. He's convinced that everyone is pulling some elaborate trick on him. Right up until the moment he has baby number one in his arms and you start pushing again for the next one. Then shit gets real.

Dave York: Dave is another cool cucumber when it comes to dealing with the idea of triplets. He starts planning. Logistics is what matters. Paying for these kids. He will start taking more contracts and being away from home, but he always tries to make sure he's home for doctor's appointments. Surprisingly handy. Already put together the three cribs and started stocking up on diapers. He's changed his share before with Molly and Alice, but this time it's going to be interesting with three at the same time.

Oberyn Martell: Thrilled. He will be on the maester's ass to make sure that the births are smooth sailing for you. Multiple babies at once? He will enjoy running his hands over your swollen belly and making sure that the servants are nearby all the time so you do not have to do a thing. Spending hours with you in the water because it easy on your body with all three babies growing. Present for every moment from the moment your pains begin, until you are holding all three.

Max Phillips: Mixed feelings honestly. Three little baby biters? Pretty cool. Three sets of dirty diapers to change? Less so. Max is smarmy and cocky, but the cracks of that facade start to show when he realizes he's made three tiny little half vamp/half human beings that will need to be cared for. He might even put his little feud with Evan aside because the man has bigger fish to fry. But expect him to start offering you blood smoothies. You know, for protein.

Marcus Pike: The combination of stress and excitement inside him is like being pulled in two different directions at once. Immediately starts reading books on the subject of twins and making a detailed list of everything you need to buy. Will be making full use of his paternity leave to help you with the babies.

Marcus Moreno: It's a good goddamn thing he's a super hero. Marcus literally saves the world, so he is used to stress. There's a little bit of panic behind those rimmed Clark Kent glasses he has and he wonders if his powers was what caused this. He knew that copper IUD was a bad idea. He can only hope that Missy loves being a big sister, because she's gonna have 3 younger siblings.

Max Lord: Passes out. Literally the man faints at the news that he is going to be a father to triplets. The internal panicking that this man does rivals ten men. Nearly enough to do something stupid like wish he had the dream stone back, but not quite. You end up having to calm him down.

Zach Wellison: Gets a second job. Then a third. You practically don't see the man for nearly three weeks after being told that he's going to have triplets with you because he's working so damn much. Trying to make sure that he can buy everything you need and provide for the babies. Only starts to slow down when you remind him that you need him with you now. You don't want to do this alone. It takes him a minute to get that through his head, but he's pretty happy as soon as he gives himself a moment to be.

Dieter Bravo: FREAKS OUT. Like has a melt down as he denies it. Until he can see the ultrasound and has the three little nuggets pointed out to him. He's wide eyed and asking you if you want some of his drugs. You might need them more than him. When you decline, he takes all of them himself and starts to ask if you feel any different now. Playing with your stomach and talking to the babies as he lays out why is he upset. He's scared. Scared he's going to screw up and then it's three little people he's fucked up. Showing exactly why Dieter will end up being a good dad. Whacky as shit, but a good dad.

Javi Gutierrez: Obsessed with them. He has already been thrilled by your pregnancy and having a baby, but now that there will be three? Completely in love with the idea of built in best friends. The decorating of the nursery is now tripled and Javi just completely throws himself into it and treats you like a queen the entire time. Waits on you hand and foot and marvels over your changing body. Gets you one of those belly harnesses to make sure that you are as comfortable as you can be.

Tim Rockford: Have you ever seen the scene of a man pacing back and forth and running his hands through his hair? That's Tim. Like seriously concerned with how he is going to pay for three babies. On a detective's salary. There's going to be a lot of overtime in this man's future.

Joel Miller: What the hell can he do? Not like he can go back and unring that bell. He's panicking, his heart racing and his entire body feeling weak but he hides that from you. Does you no good and he won't have you worrying. He's fucking worried. Because this is a shit world you live in and there's a very real possibility that he will lose you and the babies. Rest assured that he will BURN THE WORLD DOWN to keep you and them safe.

I HAD A DREAM ABOUT BEING A MAGI !!! i dont really remember much of it tbh,,,, listening to a subliminal rn to help me remember T_T

before i slept, i tired to project, but i was wayyyyy too tired lol. from what i remember of the dream...

i was transformed in the outfit i scripted, and i had my soul gem in my hands. mami and madoka were with me, helping me fight this giant, powerful witch !

the labryinth was really dark, and there were a bunch of familiars. the witch itself was like,,,,, idek it was rlly big- i wasnt scared at all though, i felt super confident and ready. i think dream me had a lot of experience fighting wicthes. being with mami and madoka def helped too

i put my soul gem away (idk how i had it on me while i was transformed lol), and began fighting the witch. again, dont really remember, but im pretty sure kyubey was there too, helping me fight the witch.

also, i had another weapon. it was a gold staff with a big ring on the top, holding a bunch of other gold rings. this weapons been stuck in my head since yesterday, so maybe its important ??

speaking of yesterday, this sigil kept popping up in my head, and it was in my dream too. im wondering if im seeing a witches sigil ? does this mean a witch is close by ? im not contracted, so idk how im seeing a witches sigil...

This is all in USA, in Spain, that's more than quite a bit of money, for reference, here in Spain there's two main groups of ambulances, Samur and Summa, Samur goes into the streets mostly, Car accidents and the like, Summa goes more into houses and enclosed spaces, it's the more...advanced of the two

So- Steven Universe Movie x Hazbin Hotel. All of them have just had their memories wiped, their 'default' personalities reset, and not having any idea who they once were. you get to really see what each character would have been like had they not faced whatever horrible thing landed them in Hell to begin with.

Going through that song in particular made me really think, guys. Hear me out.

Also, the whole 'pearl latching on to greg as her new diamond' thing makes that EXTRA hilarious. Charlie's gonna be all "Mom, don't you recognize them? Don't you recognize me?" Lilith's overly helpful ass is gonna be like "Hmmmm... Well I certainly recognize my Um Radio Demon!" And Al just, "...Oh boy."

I'm thinking it could be an adamsapple situation where Adam was left in Eden, forever waiting for Lucifer to return despite the fact that he's essentially dead to the rest of Heaven. once he finds out about Lucifer having made a life for himself in Hell, he goes to take out his jealousy on Charlie and the others. and when he's reset he goes back to a silly, fun loving innocent guy that wants nothing but to make others happy.

An Endless Existence

Chapter 3

Notes:

Yup, its been a while since I last posted, sorry for that. Writing has been hard for me recently, however I think I may be returning (maybe). Anyways, enjoy the chapter!

The way I decided to write White diamond in this chapter, and going forward until the events of pink diamonds shattering, is that she is strict but not as strict as we view her in the show. I did this so that there is this contrast between the white diamond that Orange ends up getting “close” to and then the shift of White diamond after the shattering of Pink diamond. 

I think after the shattering of PD, she gets so much worse and realizes that she cant stray from her idea of “perfection” not even for gems she enjoys the company of, and really distances herself. So yes, right now in the fic, White diamond is gonna show more emotions/be less strict.

(Also dont mind the art I made for this chapter- idk what I was doing and drew it at 3am one morning...)

The ride from Homeworld to Lambda was uneventful. The ship was grand, though that was expected of any ship that had White Diamonds stamp of approval, especially a ship carrying two minor diamonds. Though the ship was grand, there was simply not enough space to avoid the gaze of Black Diamond, who would occasionally glance at Orange and then back at her work. 

Orange had not yet been assigned any work, and so she looked down at her hands or out the window for most of the ride before she decided to break the silence between the two of them, unable to bear it any longer: “Did you like it?” She asked and turned to Black.

Black looked up and then at her, with a confused look on her face. Orange wanted to laugh, because she had never seen any other look on her face aside from one of anger, disapproval or pure boredom. This was new, and she liked that she had been the one to cause it. “Like what, exactly?” Black asked.  “The ball.” Orange said, as if it should be obvious. “My diamond put a lot of work into it”

“I thought she said you were the one who arranged it.” Black countered and Orange bit on her inner lip. 

“While I did arrange it, she was the one who approved it. Whatever I do, is my diamond's work. No matter whether it's war plans, conquering planets, or simply planning balls, every one of my accomplishments is her accomplishments.” Orange said 

“Hm, it's good you don't mind that,” Black mumbled under her breath, and that really caught Orange’s attention. 

“Well why wouldn't I?” Orange asked. It was all she had ever known after all; to allow her diamond, Yellow diamond, the same diamond who had saved her, to be the one who receives the credit for her work. She had never minded it before, as it was the least she could do for Yellow. 

“Im sure you know, but most of the other Minor Diamonds are prideful.” there was a small chuckle from Black Diamond, and Orange tilted her head in curiosity. 

“I've really only conversed with Crimson and Canary.” Orange admitted. And then quickly added “And now I suppose you… So I don't know.” Which was true. As one of Yellow diamonds most trusted gems, she had always been the primary leader for any of the projects she worked on, and so had not found the time to reach out to any other minor diamonds, or really converse with any. The only reason she was so acquainted with Crimson was because Orange had been instructed to keep a close eye on Pink diamond, and Crimson was the easiest way to do so. 

“Then you're in for a treat if you ever speak to Moon.” Black scoffed. 

Orange tilted her head. “Why? I've heard she is rather kind-” 

“From Crimson, I suppose?” Black raised an eyebrow and had a small but knowing smile. “Don't take everything Crimson says as truth. She is just biased because her and Moon have always worked closely with one another.” 

“Ill keep that in mind…” Orange said. Something chewed away at her in her mind until she finally decided to add: “So should the list of prideful Minor diamonds include you as well?” It was a bold question as Black was her superior, but she didn't shy away. If they were to work together for the next 5,000 years, Black would need to get used to her nature and they would need to get to know one another better. 

“You'll just have to see and let me know.” Was all black said, though she didn't need to say anymore. The air between them no longer was tense, but rather there was a proper acknowledgment between the two of them now.  

“Is that your thing? Being mysterious?” Orange further questioned. She couldn't really help it though, and after all, it was only Black diamond. She didn't have the authority or power to really do anything to her, and they both shared a mutual position as apprentices to Diamond authority members. 

“Do you always ask so many questions?” Black asked her, tilting her head. It was a genuine question, with no attitude in it. 

“Usually, no. However you must forgive me given my current circumstances. Being taken from one's court and placed to practically be on a trial period for a diamond who is keen on shattering you for any wrong movement you take can put a stress on one's gem.” Orange shrugged. It should be considered normal for her to have questions, and Black was the only one she would be able to ask them to anyways. 

“Ah, so you are a jokester, then?” Black asked, and Orange smirked. Their conversation flowed more naturally than it had with anyone else, and she thought to herself that it was a pity she and Black were not closer acquaintances before these events.  

“You'll just have to see and let me know” Orange repeated her words back to her, and Black nodded, seemingly defeated. 

“I suppose I will…” Blacks  words trailed off as she continued to watch Orange.

When they arrived on the planet, Orange had not even had a few minutes to examine her surroundings before she was loaded into a smaller ship to take them to the main palace. The smaller ship had windows that Orange looked out of as they zoomed past the large buildings, and gems who were working or heading places. The planet was smaller than the colony that had been owned by Yellow diamond where Orange Diamond had spent most of her time, however the buildings were taller, with the tops of them fading into the atmosphere; never ending. 

Also unsurprisingly, after deboarding the ship and loading into the smaller one, Black Diamond had not said a word to her, nor given a smile. Already Orange was gathering so much information on the minor diamond, such as she must not like to smile or laugh in the company of common gems or gems she does not know well enough. Without a smile upon her face, Black diamond radiated an aura that intimidated the working gems around her, causing common quartz guards to tense up or rubies following their masters to shiver at her gaze. 

After a quick ride, they had arrived at the palace where they would be staying for the time being. “This is where you will spend the first 1,000 years of your training.” Black held out a hand for her and she took it as she stood from the seat. Black typed a few things on her tablet, and then proceeded ahead with Orange following after her. “There is much to do, starting with your uniform.” 

“My uniform?” She asked, confused as she looked down at her clothing. “Whats wrong with my current clothing?” It was the same outfit she had been wearing since she formed, and had always served her well in Yellow Diamonds court. 

“Well in short; its outdated.” Black didn't mince her words as she still tapped away on her screen. Black swiped her fingers on her own screen and then turned it towards Orange. “I've just been sent details on what your new uniform will be while you remain in White Diamonds court. You are to discard your phase out of your old uniform and wear this until your fate is decided by White diamond. Failure to comply will result in punishment. Am I understood?” Orange nodded her head as she took in the uniform on the screen.  

“You want me to wear that…?” By all means, it wasn't a terrible outfit, and it fit the fashion of White diamonds court perfectly. Within pinks court, many gems possesed frills or puffy sleeves like the diamond herself, In blues it was a similar fashion, dark and long dresses. Within Yellow diamonds, the fashion was more geometrically shapes, harsher points and armour, and so it seemed like robes and excess fabric were the trend within White’s court. The only thing that bothered her was how… pale it was. The color of her outfit was a light cream color rather than her bold Orange and black that she was so used to. She pursed her lips from saying anything against it though, as what she wore would be the least her worries here.  

“Orange- you may have gotten by in Yellow Diamonds court, but White’s court is competitive. You can not just be good, you need to be great, otherwise she will discard you.” Black warned, guiding her to a changing station so that the machine would manually change her outfit, so that she wouldn't have to destroy her current form. 

“Thats an understatement if I ever heard one.” A voice spoke out in a singing tone, and Orange whipped her head around. To Black Diamonds right, stood a gem; a minor diamond. She was beautiful, more beautiful than Orange could ever imagine. She had never seen Cullinan, who mostly kept to herself and didnt talk to anyone else outside of White’s court. Her head covering looked to be made out of the same material as White diamonds cloak, that shone with every movement of her head, and stopped at her shoulders. Her voice was cold, devoid of emotion, similar to Whites own, masking with a sweet tone despite being anything but. It was then that Orange came to the conclusion that despite being White diamonds apprentice, Black diamond must have been the odd one out of the three of them. 

“Hm, this is the diamond?” Cullinans gaze was cold, similar to that of whites as well. Compared to White and Cullinan, Black diamonds gaze seemed softer and warm. She was a stark contrast against the coldness that surrounded the both of them.“I doubt she’ll make it past 500 years without being shattered or shipped off to some outskirts planet.” She laughed, her eyes scanning Orange diamonds form. 

Orange shifted in her spot, as the machine whirled to life after Black tapped a few buttons on her screen. In a literal flash of light, Orange felt a burning sensation on her gem as it was struck with light, and then that was it. The machine returned to its sleep setting and when Orange looked back down at her outfit, she was wearing the uniform that had been picked for her. “Try to have a little faith Cullinan.” Black shot back. “I thought the same thing of you when you first arrived.” Cullinan narrowed her eyes and gave a small hissing sound towards Black. Thats right, Black was Cullinan’s superior.  

“But she’s not like us.” Cullinan bit back, growling her words out. “Hell, she’s not like the other minor diamonds either.” She rolled her eyes. “No matter, she’ll be dealt with how White Diamond see’s fit.”

“If thats all you have to say Cullinan, then I suggest you slink back to whatever corner you came from and let me continue my guidance. Me and Orange still need to cover the basics of white diamonds court etiquette-” 

“Court etiquette? I believe that i've already been trained in that-” Orange started, recalling some of her former lessons. Surely White Diamonds court couldn't be that different from Yellow Diamonds own, especially since Yellow Diamond looked to White so often for guidance, following her every command. Surely Yellow would have her own court to the standards of White Diamonds.  

“Well, with the way you stand I could hardly tell-” the words shot out of Cullinan’s mouth. 

“Cullinan!” Black spoke louder, speaking over her words. 

“Alright, Alright-” She raised her hands as she walked off towards an exit. “Just don't get too attached Black.” Was the last thing Cullinan called out as she left. Black Diamond sighed, releasing the tension in her form that only Cullinan could bring her.  “Just, ignore her. She rarely has any helpful words, though her talent with urban planning are invaluable.” And Orange wished she could simply ignore Cullinan, but her words rang in her head as they continued walking towards their next destination. She might be shattered in the next 500 years, and while that thought should terrify her… it almost didn't. 

She thinks almost because she had remembered a time where she had begged to be shattered. This fear and pain was nothing compared to her time on Jupiter, and so in truth, she couldn't bring herself to be scared. Instead, she was nervous of disappointing White Diamond, and in turn, disappointing Yellow. She wanted them to be proud of her, to prove that maybe she wasn't defective after all. 

She just wanted to be wanted .

The repetitive work of filing, though it should belong to a gem of lower caliber than her, was comforting. It allowed Orange to stay within her own mind and she mindlessly worked, and think back to her time in Yellow’s court. She missed it, even if she had been gone less than one moon cycle. And unlike when she worked with Yellow and when she would start to space out, there was no one there to snap her back to reality, and so the loneliness crept in easily. 

It was only when Black Diamond came to retrieve her that she finally felt the calming presence of another gem. Maybe this was White Diamonds plan from the beginning: Isolate her until she loses touch with reality to then snap her up and expose her weaknesses. It certainly was working as she barely moved her head up from the work that was laid out in front of her. “White diamond requests your presence” Black’s voice was monotone, void of the joking nature they had created when she had first brought Orange to Lambda.

“Ah, so soon?” Orange thought that she might get another 100 years before White finally had the time to check on her, though it seemed the gem monarch was more interested in her than she previously thought. “Well, it cant be helped.” She set down her work and brushed ov er her hair with her hands to make herself somewhat presentable. “Please, lead the way-” 

Black nodded, and Orange followed after her as she trailed ahead. This was the normal for them- Black leading and Orange following blindly. Her mind was still clouded as she walked behind Black, and when Black stopped in front of their destination, Orange accidentally bumped into her back, not stopping her steps in time. Her head hit the space between Black’s shoulders and she stumbled backwards for a second before catching herself and refusing to look at Black. She had just made herself look stupid…  

“I should go in…” Orange said, going around Black as she reached for the door. 

“Wait-” Black grasped at her forearm, stopping her in her tracks, before she bit the inside of her lip and adjusted Orange Diamonds skirt and clothing to lay them perfectly down. “There… she hates wrinkles.” Black noted, taking a step back after noticing how close she was to Orange and clearing her throat. “Lets try not to get you shattered after your first meeting with her….” It was a joke, even if it was awful, but Orange gave a small smile in appreciation. 

“You wont be able to get rid of me that quickly.” Was all she said before she turned towards the door and opened it with a simple touch of the pad near the door. The door wooshed open, and Orange stepped inside the tall room. 

From inside the room, Orange Diamond took mental notes of its layout. There was a large window on the far wall that took up the whole wall, forming a diamond shape that resembled the diamond insignia. Grand pillars were littered on the outskirts of the room, carved with beautiful depictions of different gems; pearls dancing, strong quartzes standing guard, lapis lazuli’s in mid flight, and many more. Orange had never seen anything like it, as Yellow Diamond’s court mostly consisted of very geometric abstract pieces of art, or rarely any at all. 

She walked into the room, still looking around but more distracted by the window now as she approached it. Even though she had gotten a glimpse of the planet and its layout when she had arrived, she had mainly stayed inside the palace for this planet and had seen very little of anything else. It looked somewhat like homeworld but much more… colorless. She supposed that was how White liked it- a planet that was lifeless. She shivered at that thought. 

Orange did not feel like she belonged here, it was simple as that. She had found comfort in the warm toned, long hallways of Yellow Diamonds court. She never had to worry about standing out, as her gem and its colors shone best there, however in White diamonds palace, there was no certain color. Orange felt almost washed out from just standing in the center, and despite standing out against the pale colored walls and architecture, she couldn't help but feel more… alone. She stood out, an enemy in the middle of an empty field. Anyone could come by and snipe her at any given moment, and it wouldn't take much as she was only a minor dia-

“Orange Diamond.” The voice sent a chill down her spine. She knew she should turn around, and address who spoke out, but she found herself momentarily frozen in place. She didn't want to turn around, didn't want to meet her gaze. She missed Black diamonds small comfort. 

She slowly turned her head, and from the corner of her eye, she could see the bright aura that could only be given off by one gem: White Diamond.

“My diamond.” Orange eventually forced her body to turn with her head and she formed a diamond with her arms. She didn't say anything else, as she had been told by Black to allow White to say what she wanted before attempting to speak. Actually, it was preferred for her not to speak at all if possible, unless asked to. 

“Lovely you could make it.” Like she had a choice . “I have called you here to discuss your future with you. Im sure you are wondering why you have been summoned to my court? Why I could not just leave you in yellow’s court and observe you from afar? The truth: I believe you defective.” Orange nodded her head a little and continued to keep her gaze downwards. “Tell me Orange, why are none of the other minor diamonds “secondary colors”?” White asked. She thought about it. Out of all of the minor diamonds, she was the only one who was considered a “secondary color”. Canary’s color palette was yellows, Moon and Teal were both blues and Crimson and Daria were shades of red and pink. There was no Green diamond or Purple diamond, there was only Orange.  

“Im unsure my diam-” Orange responded back, however before she had the opportunity to complete her sentence, White interrupted her. That had been a question she wasn't supposed to answer literally. 

“Because its never been able to be done before.” She states. Its quick and harsh, which is contradicted by the smile on her face, and confuses Orange. “You mean to tell me that a mistake such as yourself has managed to defy odds and grow from a planet as unstable as Jupiter with no flaws? Impossible.” Her nails drummed across the surface of the nearest desk, her desk. It was a beautifully crafted one, the newest technology. “You’ve surely gotten my attention, no doubt about that, however its not the type of attention you want. You are here to either prove yourself, or perish.  My plan for you is to push you to your limits to see just how much pressure I have to apply before you break. If you surpass the odds, then perhaps you are meant to be a part of Yellow Diamonds court.”  

White Diamond looked at her, and Orange knew she should say something to her, anything. She needed to assure her of her own strength. “I can handle it, I know I can.” There was that feeling again, the uneasiness that White Diamond radiating power caused her own form to feel. It made her nauseous, and lightheaded being so close for too long. She needed to get away, to breath, but to do so would be admitting weakness, defeat. So she stayed. 

White Diamond made her way behind the desk, sitting in the grand seat, and crossing her legs over each other. “Sit.” She commanded and Orange complied, sitting in the open spot across from White Diamond. “Until I can either break you or figure out why you are different, you are to meet me here every moon cycle to have discussions until I come to a conclusion.” 

Orange diamond bit the inside of her lip and tilted her head. “Discussions?” 

“Yes.” And she nearly wanted to laugh. She was to have discussions with the gem matriarch of homeworld? The ruler of all that existed in this and every other universe? Discussions typically included two gems having a conversation, so was Orange to really sit down with her every moon cycle to actually go back and forth with her about whatever topic’s she brings up? This felt like a setup, as not even Yellow or Blue Diamond could speak freely or as often to her, much less every moon cycle. White must see the chaos that was happening in Orange diamonds mind, or maybe she could read minds- that would not shock Orange in the slightest. “You may speak as you like, though do be aware that everything you say will be evaluated.” 

“I understand my diamond. Thank you for this opportunity.” Orange bowed her head once more. “I just want clarification: I am allowed to speak freely?” The word ‘freely’ didn't sit right in her mouth. Not once has she ever experienced true freedom, and she doubted that this would be any different. 

“In short: yes.” Was her answer, and she nodded. She still refused to make eye contact with White on purpose, keeping her eyes downward. This sounded too good to be true, why would she get a chance like this? It made no sense, though when it came to White Diamond, very little she did had made sense to Orange Diamond. And maybe that just proved even further that Orange might be defective in some way. After all, if she couldn't see what was happening or what White Diamond saw in her, White Diamond who was the most flawless gem in the universe, then that just meant she must be fatally flawed. 

“What are your opinions on Yellow Diamonds court?” White asked as she pulled out the screen from her desk. The questions came quicker than Orange had expected, as she tried to ignore the text that was written on the screen and what White Diamond could possibly be looking at. It wasn't Orange’s business. 

“I am grateful for my diamond, Yellow diamond. She is a most dedicated and strong leader, who does everything she can to better Gem Kind and spread the diamond authorities rule to unruly planets. I have gotten luckier than most to be allowed to assist her in such a noble quest, and see no greater task than that of being able to dedicate my own gem to her court.” Orange spoke off, sounding like she was reciting something. 

“Mm.” Was the response that Orange Diamond’s answer gotten and she squinted her eyes, looking down at the hands in her lap again. What was the matter? She answered that perfectly. “And what of her actual court? Not just Yellow. What are your opinions on gems like Canary?” 

Canary ? Orange Diamond thought for a moment. What did she think of Canary? She was young, that was for sure, and maybe not the most reliable, and she had a bit of a temper, but her temper was what helped fuel her work. Orange remembered when Yellow had first brought Canary to her court, and for a short while, Orange was worried that she would be replaced. However her fears were eased when she saw how Canary conducted herself, and then she discerned that Canary would not be able to replace her as-  “She is young.” Orange Diamond stated, and then decided she should elaborate as that may not have been enough. “She has much to learn, but just like the rest of the minor diamonds, she is capable of great things. If she were not, Yellow Diamond would not allow her to remain in her court.” 

“And is that the same thing you tell yourself? That Yellow diamond allows you to stay because if you were not good enough she would have discarded you long ago?” Orange diamond gave a small nod and earned another hum from White. “And you never questioned her conclusion?”

“It is not my place to question my diamonds decisions and conclusions, I can only support her in whatever she decides.” Orange diamond’s tone tried to remain monotone, something that she things White diamond may prefer from her. If she kept all emotions from her voice, maybe she could keep some of her own thoughts to herself, and White wont be able to pick apart her every opinion and thought. 

“But have you thought yourself Defective at times?” There was a hint of curiosity in White’s voice. It stemmed from the fact that no matter what she asked Orange, she couldn't seem to grasp her answers or what was going through her mind as she answered. 

Orange would answer her honestly, as she looked up at white and replied: “Yes.”

Just as White diamond had told her in their first meeting, every moon cycle, Orange was called away from her duties and asked to have a ‘discussion’ with White. It mainly consisted of White Diamond asking her anything she was curious about and Orange answering her. Through the many they had had so far, Orange had grown more and more comfortable in answering, after she was sure that White wouldn't shatter her in that moment. Orange had also stopped missing Yellow Diamonds court surprisingly, as she took up an unlikely friendship with Black. Both of them seemed to stand out on this planet, and so it was only natural that the two of them gravitated towards one another. 

“Orange.” White’s voice cut their shared silence, and Orange stopped in her work. “What do you think of Pink diamond?” The question startled Orange. Up until that point, White had only asked questions about things in her knowledge. Mainly about Yellow Diamond's own court, how she ran it, what kind of diamond she was, her rule, things like that. However, Pink was a topic that Orange knew little about. 

“Well, I think much like Canary, Pink still has much to learn, however its not my place to really say as I have only met her but once. I’ve heard from Crimson though that she has full faith in Pink Diamond.” She looked to White, raising her head for a second. That was all she would grant herself of taking in White Diamond image. The older diamond still terrified her, however, she was starting to grow a tolerance for that fear, pushing it to the back of her mind, otherwise how would she get any work done if she didn't?

“What is your… intentions on gauging my attitudes towards the other diamonds?” Orange picked her words carefully as she looked away from her screen and towards White. The action caught White’s attention as up until this point, Orange Diamond had been nothing but some meek diamond in her eyes. She had avoided eye contact, avoided White’s aura and complied to all of her questions, answering White Diamond with hypothetically perfect answers and yet…. “It seems no matter how I have answered you, you have not found it good enough.” 

“You say it like its rehearsed. Thats the issue.” Orange was taken aback by White’s answer. 

“It may be, but it doesn't mean I don't believe in it any less-” 

She was cut off as White diamond finally admitted “You irk me.” Orange pursed her lips together at hearing that, feeling her form wanting to cave in on itself. “I cant figure you out. I can have any gem in the palm of my hand, reading out their whole existence in a simple sentence. I see everything, know everything and yet… Even when given the chance to speak freely, which many would say is a great privilege, you don't… and I cant understand it.”

“I do-” Orange argued, however White raised a hand to stop her from speaking. 

“No, you have only given me facts and how other people think.” 

“Is that… not what im supposed to do?” 

“You need a certain level of free thinking as well, otherwise what makes you a diamond? What would separate you from any other common gem?” White smiled, though there wasn't any sincerity in it. “Minor diamonds walk a fine line between power and subservience. You are seen as a diamond, have the same powers as one, but yet- you fall short- not enough of a diamond to really matter.” She was right. White diamonds words, though they hurt, were absolutely correct and Orange knew that very well. 

“Its not like I can say whatever I want though, even with your permission.” She gritted out finally “Its not that simple. If I say the wrong thing, then I could be shattered, actually- I face being shattered anyways, so maybe you are right; I should have some free will of my own. But regardless, there is one thing I am sure of that I cant tell you; I want to be great.” Orange admitted “Take that as fact or opinion if you would like, but I know that I can achieve greatness and thats the only thing that is pushing me to continue to exist.” Her gaze held a fire in it, and for a second, White diamond could see a storm in them. It stirred something in the older diamond, and she leaned forward. 

Shit- she was out of line - Orange thought to herself as she leaned back and away from White diamond’s form, as it got closer to her. 

“You know Orange… I think you might just have secured yourself another 1000 years working for me.” The warm colored gem’s face was one that amused white, as her eyes widened and her jaw clenched. It looked like she had a few choice words for White but refrained herself from saying anything to dissuade or anger the monarch. “You are dismissed.” 

Orange stilled in her actions, her head still churning as she closed out her tablet and stood from her usual spot across from White. Even when the door had closed behind her, white still looked to it, as she could imagine Orange’s form walking off and away from her. This had started as a trial period for Orange, to see if she would be a liability to her rule, but now this had become something so much better. 

Where White could break down and determine every other diamond’s beliefs, their weaknesses, their opinions, their very essence, Orange was a Paradox (to simply put). She was imperfect but perfect, bold yet timid, warm yet cold. White wanted to figure her out, wanted to toy with her mind to see if she could figure out just what made Orange tick, and so far she was one step closer. 

“I want to be great.” She found herself repeating Orange’s words, as they danced on her lips. She was a puzzle, and this would be a fun game for her to play. A distraction from her dull existence.

Throughout the entire quest Percy has killed so many Orcs and monsters with ease making Gandalf curious…how does she have a sword?..how is she so good with a weapon if she’s just a teenage girl?…Gandalf becomes suspicious but doesn’t find out she’s a child of the gods until they are surrounded by Azog and his followers..As Thorin was about to be killed bilbo is about to save him but instead Percy saves Thorin first.finally showing some of her power when defends Thorin…since I suck at describing fight scenes I’ll let it to your imagination…when the eagles save all of them Percy used her healing powers to heal Thorin a injuries shocking them more now knowing they had a child of the gods on their side..so they promise to help her find a way home and azog..ooohh azog…he knows now too…and he doesn’t keep quiet about it now everyone in all of middle earth the Mirkwood elves,the elves in Rivendell,dwarves,kings and queens all now hear that the company of Thorin Oakenshield have a god on their side making everyone shocked….and when they finally take Erabor back from Smaug Thorin becomes greedy..he forbids her from leaving and tries to control Percy into doing his every will and give him more power but when she refuses he tries to kill her and gets his butt beat..and because of that Percy goes with bilbo to give the Arkenstone to Thranduil and bard..they were both worried about the company being too powerful with a child of the gods on their side and the fact they don’t even know what the child of the gods look like so when bilbo arrives with Percy they don’t recognize her..so when they find out she is the child of the gods they try to convince Percy to join them and help them take down Thorin..she wants to deny and she only wants to go home..but they disagree Thranduil..Because he finally had someone powerful enough to steal back his wife’s gems..(and maybe because Percy reminds him of his wife very much) and Bard because Percy can help and protect the people of lake town..(also because he sees her as his child)..Gandalf wants her because she can help stop the war and she can help protect the company..during the beginning of the five armies the company demand Percy comes back while the Thranduil and bard demands she comes on their side..then Thorins cousin arrives and some hen he sees Percy he demands Percy is on their side…they all want Percy on their side so they all fight over it..then when azog comes he wants Percy so he can have more power(obviously) and joins the fight…and I’m getting very tired so Im sorry if I was very lazy with the ending..when Thorin comes to his senses and the army of elves,men, and dwarves reluctantly join together Percy finally joins the fight and uses a lot of her power taking down a lot of orcs…and she saves fili and Kili in the process..after the war they still fight over her but surprise surprise the summoning had a limited amount of time so while they fight over her she is sent away pissing them off as they try to summon her back..it never works again until…she is summoned again by the fellowship in the LOTR….thats all I got tell me if this idea is crap or not cause I think it would be a good story…especially if you wrote it..feel free to ignore this I just had an idea…

because its so incomprehensible in his mind that this is what he truly thinks it is.

anyway people have explained before about how stolas then proceeds to shut him out like being faced with blitz being in denial about it and taking it as a rejection

meanwhile blitz is like 'wait a second you were SERIOUS?'

and then hes like 'wAIT' because hes trying to understand. to comprehend that stolas was being real about it. that someone wants him. but then he doesnt have the time to think about it because stolas is leaving and he doesnt want stolas to leave

and yknow how blitz is hes kind of an asshole so then he defaults to being angry and frustrated. (i wonder if he feels like he'll only be heard by being angry and yelling. or if by being angry, by shutting people out and being the one to break it off makes blitz feel more in control. anyway-)

no but listen before this hes like 'what the fuck?' stolas leaves, blitz follows him in silence still in that confused and hella surprised state because it was so unexpected while stolas' talking about stuff

hes silent for awhile (probably trying to make sense of it while half-listening)

and then stolas is like 'thats enough to know what this is' and THEN blitz gets all angry and yelling

and inside hes just like. ..thats it? but its like. stolas is going to leave. and he doesnt want him to go. but he also doesnt know how to express that (especially with stolas having completely shut him out at this point in his own feeling, so set in the rejection without realizing that blitz hadnt actually rejected it. had been in disbelief instead of an actual no. and i get why he didnt stay to continue the conversation it just. sucks. so bad.)

("Can I get a fucking minute to think" got stuck in my head) and then blitz gets angry and blames stolas because thats whose infront of him. someone he can yell at and get angry which is so much easier then trying to decipher his feelings, or stolas' feelings. to try to understand. to be vulnerable especially in front of someone who he may like but its also complicated considering the power imbalance, or how all royals are asses so surely stolas cant be different, how its just a transactional relationship and nothing serious.

hes also saying things he doesnt necessarily mean meanwhile stolas is taking it to heart like 'this is how he really feels about me' when that isnt true (blitz is kind of just making excuses. and instead of being 'set free' as it might seem to stolas, it seems to him like stolas is just. throwing him away. getting bored of him. hes ignoring the love confession stolas just says 'i want you' PLEASE be more blunt about it oh my god theres so many wordings that i have an issue with from stolas im going to be honest.

like LISTEn he goes 'i want you'. blitz is in denial. stolas then starts to acceptance/resignment and blitz is like 'wait a fucking second'

so blitz who thought they were going to have a sexy time. suddenly gets hit with feelings out of the blue. and he doesnt do good with those. and its so incomprehensible that he doesnt believe it. and then basically stolas rejects him right after with blitz realizing 'wait you were serious?' and then gets angry like 'what? no, it can't be over. ..well fuck YOU then!' like. he kind of feels betrayed? like 'how dare you spring this feelings bullshit on me (and then LEAVE)'

also is he projecting? has he experienced something??? and i really dont think hes had the chance to properly process so he's just shoving it aside and focusing on the then and now. which is stolas leaving and dismissing him which blitz takes offence to and accuses him of being like all the other royal assholes. because he doesnt know how else to communicate. this is not to say that he isnt an asshole because he is, but id like to say that theres reasons to all of it.

ALSO ALSO. i think its less that blitz believes stolas to be like that but (besides reasoning to himself that stolas is just like all the others so he can distance himself and cut ties even if it hurts) that its because thats the position stolas has and so its what he turns to for insults. i had more to say about this part but i already forgot, oops.

and ive seen people talk about this too but stolas conversing through words while blitz converses through feelings. so its like for blitz youre not meant to listen to what hes saying but to listen to the feeling? meanwhile stolas being through words (thus probably feeling like 'i want you' is explanation enough while blitz needs more clarification then that)

and potentially with stolas being all horny around him cause haha my crush is here and hes hot and i love him and aaah making blitz think stolas just wants him because of what he can offer? (and maybe if hes never faced love that its unrecognizable? especially towards him?) a thought to go onto another time

also another thought to go down. you think after blitz realizes hes serious that hes trying to coomunicate. with the 'can i get a FUCKING moment to think'

and then his mouth goes on autopilot and starts insulting him trying to stall trying to get him to stay even if its with hurtful words because thats what hes used to thats what he does (also defaulting to anger)

just like yelling at him trying to get stolas to just stop walking. to stop turning his back on him.

and hes just running on anger at that point because he didnt get too long to process that stolas was serious so a part of him still thinks that its just. not real? and hes running off of that because again its so much easier than being vulnerable with someone

blitz has. probably been very trustful of someone, only for them to betray him and hurt him and use him so ahdishfu

also probably blitz's attempt at trying to get them to actually communicate

to get him to stop. stand still. stop leaving. stop moving. just turn around, face him, and talk. to get all their feelings out and explain. to clarify.

maybe he even wants stolas to get angry because that's what he's used to. wants him to get angry so they can get it all out there. maybe wants a part of him to feel vindicated of 'he was right, stolas was an asshole', the part of him that doesnt want to be close to anyone in fear of being hurt

..and then stolas doesn't react how blitz expects him to. (because they DONT understand each other at all! they don't interact all that much outside of sex, and stolas offering it to blitz is rejected)

blitz realizing 'wait... shit...' to wheres hes immediately brought out of his anger by stolas' words

also it almost sounds like blitz is saying 'Stolas, wait I'm s-' as in 'im sorry'

realizing it wasnt going as he expected it to. that stolas really was serious. that stolas was hurt. that stolas was going to actually leave and blitz. doesnt. want that to happen. so then he. tries.

and then goes 'what the fuck' when he appears outside

and honestly sometimes a lot of relationships need space from each other to realize who they are without them. and also to realize how much they care about the other, yknow? to understand their feelings without anything else complicated thrown into the mix.

listen: blitz could go back into complete denial like 'no fuck stolas actually-'. realize he misses stolas, actually.

cause i feel like he really did try at the end only to get shut out (its a really complicated situation because ive also seen people talk about how blitz yelling could remind stolas of stella(?) i think the person he divorced)

and it could be seen as rejection of him trying to do feelings talk. which he could double down on his 'no one can love you, itll only bring you hurt' idea, or bringing other people hurt (as in his mother's death or fizz getting hurt)

but i feel like he also needs time to just realize things. to think things through instead of being faced with immediately having to respond because theyre talking face to face. immediately having to respond because stolas is leaving and if he doesnt say anything then that'll be it.

its complicated. honestly, though. i feel like its for the better for them to have this break. to rebuild their life without the transactional relationship. i just wonder how they'll get back together (daughter plotting time? maybe?)

my personal top five in no particular order, and like, ya gotta understand im still new here (hermitcraft/life series) so my opinions are poised to change, but the current standings are:

Bdubs/Etho/Cleo, i'll be honest, i haven't written or read any clethubs, but i saw some art of them that made my brain shortcircuit. they are femdom, himbo, and twink. i just think that Etho should have two people who are stronger than he is on either side of him at all times, bonus points if you let Cleo be the tallest. Bdubs being super clingy, Etho reluctantly tagging along, and Cleo making sure they don't fucking die because yeah they are god damn idiots sometimes, but they're her idiots. and she loves them. and probably gives them noogies and headlocks them.

Cleo/Etho, their marriage in limlife is so much fucking fun, especially when read under an aro4allo lens. Etho whose been happily married for over a decade watching his friends enter relationships and realizing that he loves differently, he doesn't even love remotely close to how they love, love isn't even the right word. hes scared so he leaves, hes not doing it right and his wife must be upset about it, that must be why everythings crumbling. and Cleo, not giving two shits, because that's her husband and by god they're gonna make it work if he can realize that being absent is whats breaking up their marriage, not showing affection and intimacy differently.

Gem/Etho, as a canadian i am legally obligated to ship this, as a lesbian i love it when men have chaotic gremlin girlfriends who put them in their place. see that one episode of hermicraft wherein Gem beats his ass on repeat and he keeps coming back for more. its like, like theres an unspoken solidarity, 'hey we're the same even though we're not' and they stick with each other. predator/prey dynamic if you go with deer Gem and fox Etho, you also get it with sea monster Gem and fox Etho, except he's the prey and she has the biological advantage instead. also, when paired with the transfemme Etho headcanon we get some yuri which im always down for.

Grian/Etho, this one came to via an Ao3 commenter and i have seen two pieces of fanart for it and like, seven fics. but i still think the dynamic of bird and fox would be fun to work with in writing depending on the bird Grian is hybridized with, especially if Grian is the smaller one. also in limlife??? hello?? Etho, swearing loyalty and promising to be someones sword is not heterosexual behaviour. what they had in limlife, even if brief, had me shaking i'll be real. also, for their hermitcraft dynamic, it'd be hot if i threw Scar into the mix, for flavour.

Pearl/Etho/Tango, consensual workplace relationships make me absolutely insane, it could tear apart their business or bring it further together. they have the kind of dynamic that makes my head absolutely fucking empty, one of those 'i just think theyre neat' kind of ships. the culture clash between each of their species and their own personal tastes, Tango's a blaze and they mate for life, Pearl's a siren and they don't do much for romance, Etho's a fox and they come and go- but they make it happen in spite of that. im working on getting them a canonized Ao3 tag right now, they have such a fun dynamic. also, they fucked in that post office when no one was looking.

tbh these are all really closely tied, and i also have a soft spot for tangtho and the team ties poly. they're all really fun ships, i just really enjoy polyships to be real with ya'll. and the life series and hermitcraft are full of so many possible polyships that its just making me foam at the fucking mouth. sorry boat boys enjoyers, the vision has not yet engulfed me, but hey im a multishipper it might be yet to happen.
